What is a KvK Invasion?
KvK Invasion is a special type of PvP that allows you to teleport into another kingdom to battle for supremacy! These events are intended for older, post-merge kingdoms.
KvK frequently runs alongside Rebellion, you should expect any 3 Star or higher Seats of Power to unlock (in addition to seats that normally unlock on the weekend.)
As of December 2020, the event timing for War for the Throne is:
- Rebellion: War for the Throne - The first half of the rebellion - All SOP will unlock during this event (Begins ~2pm Sat, Ends ~10am Sun)
- Across the Narrow Sea - KvK Event Teleports are active during this event. KvK Pawn Shards are paid out to players holding SOPs at the end of this event. (Begins ~2pm Sat, Ends ~10am Sun)
- War for the Throne : Respite - During this recovery period, all Seats of Power will be locked (Begins ~10am Sat, Ends ~2pm Sun)
- War for the Throne: Retribution - All SOPs unlock again for one final push (Begins ~2pm Sun, Ends ~6pm Sun) All SoPs will return to their normal unlock cycles after this event ends.
- War for the Throne: Open War - The PvP event that runs throughout the weekend (Begins ~2pm Sat, ends ~6pm Sun)

KvK Invasion Event Guide
Across the Narrow Sea
During Invasion events, KvK Event Teleports become available. These are used from your inventory and can be purchased in the Store.
Using a KvK Event Teleport removes you from the combat map on your home kingdom and places you on to the map of the invaded kingdom in a random location. Once in the invaded kingdom, you can use Random or Advanced Teleports to move around as normal.
All of your active boosts will carry between kingdoms, with the exception of regional Seat of Power bonuses. For example, if your allegiance holds King’s Landing, you still get regional bonuses for placing your keep near that Seat of Power on your home kingdom, but not if you move to that same spot on an invaded kingdom.
Any unused KvK Event Teleport will remain in your inventory between events, but cannot be activated outside of Invasion events.
Combat
While cross-kingdom teleportation is active (the duration of the Across the Narrow Sea event) combat between members of the same Kingdom will be disabled so you should focus on defeating the invading forces.
Combat can occur on either kingdom, but keep in mind your army cannot be in two places at once. If a team member starts a rally on your home kingdom, you must be on your home kingdom in order to join the rally. You will receive an error message if you try to join from a different kingdom.
Similarly, you will need to recall any reinforcements before you can teleport to a different kingdom.
If you decide you’d rather hunt some creatures or gather materials from enemy soil, PvE combat is enabled while invading another kingdom too!
There’s no place like home
You can check your home kingdom number and what kingdom you’re currently invading from the settings menu (tap the gear icon in your profile.) Your home kingdom should always be white, while the invaded kingdom number will appear in red.
Invader keeps appear red so they are easy to spot on the combat map, and you’ll notice several new banners appear during invasion events on things like battle reports, profiles, and leaderboards to indicate where you are or what kingdom a player is from.
At the end of the Invasion event, all players will be returned to their home keeps and combat rules will return to normal.
"I will take my Khalasar west to where the world ends and ride wooden horses across the black salt water. I will kill the men in iron suits and tear down their stone houses. This I swear before the Mother of Mountains, as the stars look down in witness!" -Khal Drogo
