Dear HBO Games Support,
as you know, the game has been experiencing an incredibly high number of bugs and glitches for months. Regular updates do not improve the game performance in the slightest, but only change or exchange the bugs and issues.
The game does not work in the slightest as declared by WB.
Through all these bugs and glitches we players have consistently enormous losses again and again. Losses that we didn't cause. My losses now amount to 70,000+ gold, for which I have not received any compensation. As shown in previous tickets, these losses have been repeatedly caused by:
- The impossibility to put a shield or the game crashed during incoming attacks
- The impossibility to deduct troops from SoP reinforcements during incoming attacks
= immense troop and resource losses (healing costs)
- Wrong display of points during events.
= using a lot of resources, materials and speedups to get points that were not even possible to get
- non-functionality of equipments and their buffs and boosts.
= losses of a lot of stamina for nothing as well as resources for healing troops and steel for crafting equipment items. Resources and steel that I would not have spent if the buffs and boosts would have worked properly.
- crash of the game after opening food boxes for immediate use – loss of food after restarting the game. One example: I opened food boxes worth 1,400,000 food for the troop training and when I wanted to start the training, the game crashed. The food was gone, unused. This happened twice within an hour, so it can not be related to the Upkeep.
- non-functionality of notifications for incoming attacks and scouts. Despite full signal, closed background applications, enabled game notifications and working Apple-Push notifications.
= immense troop and resource losses (healing costs)
Before the update that caused this error, all notifications worked fine.
Even though I sent photos or videos to Customer Support to illustrate the above points, I received nothing but a thank you and standard emails explaining how the game works. And the recurring statement that otherwise they couldn not help me and that they could not compensate me for the game problems.
That these statements do not correspond to the truth has been shown to me by various screenshots of other players. Screenshots where you could see that these players sent requests about the same game problems and they immediately got gold added to their player profile. It did not matter if they are f2p or a paying member like me. Some of them even had far less losses than me and still got a compensation.
During the last PvP I didn't get any rewards for 2,773,145 points. Several other players experienced exactly the same game error. All the players I've been in contact with have received immediate compensation of at least 20,000 gold, even if the scored points of some players were far below mine. Even if they were at the same game level like me or below. After days of discussion with Customer Support, I was "exceptionally" paid 6,500 gold, according to the staff.
Even though I am really thankful for this small compensation, events are part of the game and one of the few ways to get resources, materials and gold. I participated, collected points and received nothing.
How can we talk about "a one time exception"!?
Why is it (rightly) natural for some employees to compensate players and not for others?
As I have explained in previous requests several times in detail, all requirements are met by me, so that the game should work reasonably.
The fact that the errors and problems cannot be caused by me, my internet connection, too little storage space, outdated software etc.pp. is confirmed by the fact that all other players have the same problems at the same time. Again and again after updates that exchange an error or add new errors. In between game functions work again, while others don't work anymore. Always depending on the updates. Since months the extent of instability and non-functionality of the game is so high that it is partly no longer possible to play. Since the last update I spend more time restarting the game than I could actually be in the game. It's a miracle that I haven't been completely wiped out yet.
I have invested a LOT of money in the game and spent countless hours training my troops and building my castle. Money and hours for a game that's been so unstable and flawed for months that I've lost hundreds of thousands of troops, resources and gold, and keep losing. Money and hours for nothing.
WB obviously doesn't care about the gameplay problems or (equally) about their customers. So my money was only an enrichment for WB.
And as long as WB doesn't provide an, at least halfway, stable and working game, with the promised features (as declared) or at least compensate their players adequately (or at all!!!) for their not self-caused losses, it's simply abuse and fraud.
The only thing keeping me from uninstalling the game at the moment are my alliance members and my already invested money as well as my time.
So I urge you to do something about it, to take responsibility as long as the game doesn't work properly (at least by providing adequate compensation or a compensation at all) and to make sure that the investment of my money and time hasn't been for nothing!!!
