I think having the get be more dynamic is a good thing. That means allowing Seats to be taken. Prior to this change that was virtually impossible. In addition it allows a smaller group, say 14 or 16 people, to attack even if they may struggle to take, let alone hold, a large Seat of Power. The biggest problem is there is nothing that pushes a reversion to the mean. One allegiance could literally take every Seat of Power from King's Landing down to 2 stars. They couldn't use them all of course, but they could hold them and deny their use to anyone else. In fact I would argue that the mechanics of the game encourage and push the players to join together in this way. In that regard the new rules simply allow a different form of stasis. Instead of it being impossible to take large Seats you'll have them all controlled by whoever manages to get biggest faster which will snowball. So, yay?

The original poster is correct about changes to the game that have caused major problems for players, but it goes well beyond that. Every kingdom has a relatively small number of high level money spenders who are systematically wrecking the games of other players in the kingdom. One of the design flaws of this game has always been the ability to destroy a keeps entire army other than its small wounded capacity, and  that design flaw is now even more perverse because small groups of big money players within 1 or 2 allegiances per kingdom are wrecking out whoever they decide to target. For many of these people, it’s nothing more than an opportunity to set a “world record” zero to brag about until the next record is set, and wrecking everyone else is called “practice”. The result is the same on most servers. The kingdoms begin to die as soon as they are created or merged. I’m certain WB did not develop the game for a few dozen players per server, but the total troop killing design of the game, exacerbated by the small groups of big money spenders now leveraging other game updates to dominate every kingdom, is the real reason why every kingdom is dying. If WB wants to have healthy, active kingdoms with a lot of players of all Keep sizes, the game needs software changes to prevent these high level money spenders from wrecking, in an hour or less, what it took other players months or a year or more to build. Many players spend some money on the game, others spend a little, or none. Regardless, the game should not be tailored to a few dozen per kingdom to do as they please. WB, it’s way past time to fix the total troop killing aspect of the game, so the kingdoms can get, and retain, an active number of players.
