After a long 8 day wait to have a ticket answered I finally received a message back from customer service awarding me with a fair amount of gold given the losses I had obtained but that is not my issue this post is in reference to. My issue was, what came off to me as a dismissive and borderline passive aggressive attitude towards my problem. In a nut shell I lost access to a previous account and was awarded a substantial amount of gold for my problem but by the time I was awarded said gold the amount of time that had passed had been to great to over come so I requested if the gold awarded to a dead account would be passed to another (which had been done for me once before on December 18th) While I respected the "no" answer I was not happy with the decision and voiced my displeasure in a pleasant way while asking "why?" I was met with such quotes like
"Even though there is no option as of now, to transfer the Gold, I'm positive that a player of your caliber will, in no time will have enough of what the game has to offer.
Resources, Troops, and Materials can all be gained and utilized on your way to success and glory along our game. It should be just a piece of cake for you but what matters most is the attitude and passion a player has for the game and you have an abundance of it even more than some of the higher level player."
Which read to me as "You will eventually get bored with playing soon" and "you are a good player, your attitude will push you past the disappointment of not getting back what you paid and worked for"
and after my response "I understand It just feels like a waste of my money sitting in a keep i never play and was only awarded because i was locked out. I understand your point of view as a staff member but as a customer it feels like i was taken advantage of. I don't mean to put this on you I just wanted to ask while i have someones attention."
This was customer services response
"I totally get your point.
It's amazing how at one point in time, we need to rearrange things out of which, we may have to let go of a few things, big or small and I'm really glad that you are on the other end who understand this.
Just so you know, we will not let your concern go without being attended to. So, you can approach us with your queries at any point of time. It may have taken some time for us to reply in the past, but I assure you, all of us at WB are working to assist you in the most excellent way as possible.
Let me know if you need anything else."
Is this WB's Position? To simply "LET IT GO"? Let go that i paid a substantial amount of money to a game that is 75% complete at best? I think Not!
I would like to speak with someone about this As soon as possible
