Due to the lack of abundant resources available, I'd like to make suggestions that were mentioned in my alliance chat:
1) Make resources scaleable, like creatures.xa0 It doesn't make sense that creatures scale to 30, but resources cap out at 6.xa0 If something costs 10 mil resources to upgrade, but I can't get more than 3% of that per night, it could take me 30 days to get enough rss to upgrade a single 10 mil building.xa0 The only reason Ixa0send my troops out to harvest resources is becausexa0it takes sooooo long that they wont get destroyed while I sleep overnight.xa0xa0
2) Make higher level creatures ralliable.xa0 Get together with some friends and try to take out a high level bandits.xa0 If scaling works, the benefit might be higher as a result of teamwork.xa0 This makes SoPs that spawn higher densities of high-level creatures more valueable.xa0xa0This allows higherxa0and lower levels to work together for resources.
3) Dramatically lessen upkeep to a smaller percentage.xa0 My entire army will go out and harvest food for 10 hours.xa0 The amount of food that I gain wont cover the price of my hourly upkeep for a single hour.xa0 That doesn't seem logical.xa0xa0Everyone talks about how they are outta food.xa0 Upkeep is a black-hole that removes resources from the in-game economy.xa0xa0
In short: make the game about controlling resources rather than managing scarcity.
