Posting this largely to vent but also in the hope that a mod might be able to provide me with some closure/explaination.
In February I encountered an issue where a keep was double reinforced by the same person, and consequently I lost around 3 full marches of T6 troops. Oddly enough I play this game with my uncle who had encoutered the same issue only days before - he lodged a ticket and within a few days had received compensation for the 3 full marches of T8 troops he lost after support acknowledged it was a glitch. After talking to him about what happened and realising he had experienced the same thing, we did a like-for-like comparison of screenshots and outcomes, and realised that we'd experienced the same thing - he encouarged me to lodge a ticket and I did.
I got my first reply after 4 weeks which was annoying but understandable due to the backlog. I then proceeded to email a screenshot at support's request which resulted in another 2 week wait. I heard back today to be told this was just a visual issue and that they can't discuss other tickets (I explained my uncle's situation), and like my ticket was closed...
The only difference between my uncle and I? He's put $1,500+ into this game where i've only been able to put $100.
I know there's been a crack down on compensation, but it was lovely to finally experience first hand what everyone's been talking about - not only do you get destroyed in game if you don't spend money, but support staff will also shaft you and treat you differently, keeping you waiting for weeks on end to then provide contradictory messages/outcomes.
