We have heard your concerns about chat muting and will be unmuting most players over the course of this week. Please note that anyone who violates our ToS (see this post) may be subject to muting again.
We do not currently have the ability to message players who have been muted directly. Rest assured this is coming soon.
We will let you know as soon as everyone has been un-muted. Most mutes will fall between 1 and 7 days, but some may be longer. Muting duration is based on the level of the offense, and repeatedly breaking our TOS can result in longer duration or action taken against your account.
Please be aware that a few people may stay muted. These will be any players whose actions have warranted a longer or permanent mute any time after February 1st. If you feel you have fallen into this category and wish to be unmuted, please submit a ticket to CS and we will consider your case.
Please do not contact CS until our follow up post announcing that everyone who is going to be un-muted has been, otherwise you may not receive a unique reply.
You may appeal any future chat muting by opening a ticket with CS. Please note: when a ticket is "closed" that does not mean we are not addressing the issue you have reported - it means that we are taking the details you've provided and addressing the issue but you may not receive a response after the one you initially received.
