Youll still have same problem... 30 seconds of only the few t10 players just reclaiming it.

WB needs to rethink the whole locked SoP thing... they need to be unlocked untill such time as they change owners.

So for example Player A takes winterfelll and it locks ... at end of the locked period it opens and stays open until another allegience takes it from them at which time they have to hold it for 24hrs in order for it to lock again if player A wants to continue to keep it then it stays unlocked and must be defended.... and in order to prevent just simply passing from one allegience member to another without a fight make it unlock whenever it is passed.

In essence you only get one free locked period when you take a big seat... and as a bonus it will kind of randomize the opening times based on when it is conqured.

Well about the T10 solo is easy to fix. Just make SOP like Rallying Creatures.

I agree that this "sop reclaim" and lock schedule should be thinking together, but leave a sop opened wiil not solve all difficulties that attackers have. I personally think that defend a SOP should be the hardest task, and so hard that during sop open schedule we will have many alternation!

Right now I just don´t want to wait for next merge to fight for a Big SOP!

Hmmm... the inability to take Seats of Power has not been our experience in K114. I will say that it does require a significant amount of manpower or the ability to catch the opponent off guard. I'll give you some examples. Say we're talking about a 3 star Seat with a max capacity of 710k troops. Assuming relatively equivalent tiers, say some T9s and some T8s on defense and all T9s on the attack which would be somewhere on the order of 540k rallies, give or take. So I would expect it to take about 7 or 8 rallies to wipe out the troops in the Seat, probably about half of that until you start to "win." That means if there are active defenders you cannot take it with a single group rallying because they have time to refresh reinforcements. You probably can't take it with 7 or 8 people and starting consecutive rallies with enough time for people to get their troops back and join the next ones because the defenders will have at least as much time to refresh their reinforcements. What you need to do is be able to hit with 8+ rallies in a small enough window that reinforcements cannot get there between the first and the last one. This means the attackers are able to use all troops for the first sets and then mix in siege to bring the wall down. Once they have that done then they can eliminate all of the troops in another set.

In fact, because the defender cannot send another march while the Seat of Power is full they can only react after the first rally has hit. If they cannot get the march there during that window all it does is set up for the next wave. Attackers can scale arbitrarily, as long as they have their timing down. In that regard the offense has an advantage in that they can keep adding people where the defense is more constrained. So positionng matters. March speed matters. Number of people matters, more so, in fact, than their power. Having 12 people with 30M power is better than having 6 with 60M, for example.

thanks sharing! In K114, how many 4+ star SOP have been conquered from another allegiance?

Hmmm... weird, I thought I had responded to this one. Well, no matter. So far only one 4+ star Seat has been taken in K114. Some folks attempted Sunspear this past weekend and were unsuccessful. A combination of T10s defending with that 91% defense bonus having the closest spot and, likely, nearly the same number of active defenders as attackers. In this instance, it was somewhere between 30 and 40 attackers.

On a side note the merge has had some interesting effects. Prior to the merge there weren't enough people to really be able to pull together that many without including folks who didn't really have the power to lose. In addition there were more Seats of Power than could be reasonably defended simultaneously. With the larger combined population it is having the effect of driving more consolidation because it's becoming more about the number of T9+ players you can muster. I had envisioned that with more people there would be more sides. Alas, it appears to be falling into the same duopoly that existed pretty much universally pre-merge.
