Why Can’t Links Be Seen In AC or DM’s?

I’ve been trying to post a link to my alliance in both AC and dm’s and all they see are a line of asterisks. Why are we unable to share links in chat? It’s beyond frustrating if that’s the only method your alliance currently has to communicate. What’s the reasoning behind this? Can someone please explain or, preferably, fix chat to enable sharing of links.

  Tell you members to go to settings and disable all the profanity settings. I hope that helps

  Links are subject to the language filter for security reasons. This is in case players wish to link others to potentially harmful websites.
