Bug reports : Real Help or just an excuse for finishing an issue

    Greetings Whatsinthename,

    I am sorry that you still have gameplay issues. What is your ticket numbers? Please have a look at this post about the different ticket types and their responses: https://community.wbgames.com/t5/Support/Customer-Service-Help/m-p/1819951#M5. Also, you will notice; "If you feel you’ve received an incorrect response, please write back to the initial ticket and clarify your situation. From there, an agent should respond to you as soon as they are able." I have also moved this post to the support section for better visibility. All reports are read and will be fixed, but I don't have a time frame for that.

    Thanks a lot,

     

    I responded them for clarification but whenever I respond I get a new ticket number.

     

    My ticket numbers are : 

    • #86760 ( the initial one with all the screenshots and details)
    • #98735( this is the new ticket I received when I sent a reply to the older ticket number)
    • #101207 ( the agent suggested me to file another ticket for payments only, to make the things more organized and easy to track, although it is associated with initial ticket )

    I forgot to add, all these tickets started with the same automated reply for the troubleshooting, so basically it is a cycle of pain, going on and on and finally ending saying that it's a bug and no further response will be received.

    Although bug reports are reviewed by the development team, not everything can be fixed quickly unfortunately. This is due to the fact that fixes have to be prioritized based upon impact severity, importance, and difficulty. This could also potentially be an isolated issue, which further increases the chances of it being difficult to resolve since there may be an extreme lack of information surrounding what might actually be going on.

     

    That being said, all bug reports are indeed looked into. It's just that the development team doesn't have the time to respond to them, so that's why they don't receive a response when you submit them.

    Yeah, It is totally understandable that the issues will take time to fix and some probably can't be fixed at all.

    But during these time what do you expect the player to do? 

    For me, I am just shielding up and killing the creature. Not active in the game, just waiting for the issue to be fixed. It's 3 weeks now and you can check my activities logs before this problem and after this. I am more active in replying to the ticket emails than actually playing the game.

    and last week I gave up on that as well.

    So now, just waiting for my assets to dry down and then quietly quit the game.
