I wish they went back to the old reinforcement and seat system. We actually had more action that way.

Well, it's not like Paramount seats changed hands with the old rules, either. Park someone with 35m power there and they aren't going anywhere. The rules right now favor large numbers of people. So what I see is a lot of consolidation and people unable to do anything else except be in these large allegiances or alliances and still be competing for anything more than a 2 star SoP.

My buddy dismissed all his troops and we farmed him. A keep 30. I’m a keep 30 and thinking about doing the same thing . It’s like wb wants us to quit. I will give the game one more month for significant changes if not I’m done with it

Well, maybe a question would be what sort of significant changes would you like to see that would keep you engaged?

The seats need to be open for attack all the time. Maybe up the rally limit to 10 people. Higher creature levels would help. Make Pyke available (it’s been a year) . Just normal growth of the game type stuff. Not asking for a complete code makeover

truth is thiere is nothing to do in this game, its one year old and they are yet to add any real meaningful content for the players to exspore, the house im in owns all para seats with 0 challange and the server is nearly back to the way it was befor the merge dead with people trying to sell account left and right, bottom line there is nothing to do in game at all and its become very very stale and boring and this is due to poor updates.

how dose a game with not even close to the resources WB has have more to do in game... nearly every single other game like this has 10x the amount of stuff for their players to do and exsplore, and they delay the only update that anyone really cares about, dragons.

so its bk to the same way it been since day 1, kill 5 monsters every 6 hrs, set troops of to train, log out.... thats littrealy it.

Quite simply they just need to solve the inability to meaningfully attack anyone.

Quite simply they can just make rally size and reins quantities dependant on the actual war hall and rookery capacity instead of limited number of participants.

And SoP open 24/7 would help instead if just a day every few weeks.

Another way if there dead set on not haveing to account for large numbers of accts in battle calcs is to simply use the actual rally leaders stats for everyone in the rally... would add a whole new dimension to troop selection strategy and big acct participation in rallies.

Okay, let's imagine a situation where you could put together a rally of 1M troops. At that level you're talking about 3M troops in order to make it hurt enough on the attack that they aren't likely to be attacked. So you'll raise the floor to oh, I don't know, 45M power and T9s. In addition any Seat of Power, with the exception of King's Landing, that gets smacked by 4+ rallies of 1M troops is going to get overwhelmed. Why would I bother reinforcing any Seat if at any time I could lose the march? I wouldn't. Constantly having to spend the resources to heal troops gets old quickly.Since defending a Seat of Power is entirely optional you'll see more and more Seats empty until they're desired for troop training events. People, especially high power people, are almost entirely a limited number in any mature kingdom. While you may occasionally get people who join with an invite code, those are few and far behind; the barrier to entry is simply too high.

The only way I can think of is to lower the costs of PvP so people are more willing to take risks. At their current costs most people are going to be pretty risk averse.

Our server is very balanced keep 30s everywhere. You can’t take a sop especially when it opens one day every two weeks. We just fight over the 2 star seats now . It’s getting stale no one reinforces them or wants them .

just fyi we don’t have a paramount seat. Our group has a full set of t10s to rally with. And a lot of t9s . Still can’t take a paramount. Four people refreshing reins will hold it till you run out of troops. And they know when the attack will happen it’s on a timer lol. That’s dumb

T10s really change the defensive game. They aren't significantly better on attack than T9s, but their defense and health are substantially better. I will say the fact that basically everything other than King's Landing was soloable on merge and then extremely difficult to take over was a pretty serious blunder. Basically you'll need probably 8 sets to be successful against a 3.5+ star Seat of Power. It's rare that I've seen more than a 35-40% participation rate among people with a high enough level and power to join. So if you have 30 people in that category you'll be lucky to get 12 of them on and able to rally on any given time. So you need to make friends.Because if you can take a Paramount seat with your numbers as you describe people can then take it right back from you. Yes, right now it's basically impossible for a single allegiance to take a Paramount seat assuming the people holding it can mount a reasonable defense. That appears to be by design. Which gives people an unfortunate incentive to get as many big people together as they can possibly stand and then not leave because then they wouldn't be able to do much.

Thanks everyone for your feedback on this thread! We heard from players at all levels who feel that the game is stagnating. We have some incredible events and features we've been working hard on the last few months, and they should be available before much longer. I can't give out any specifics yet, but we're hoping to post about it soon. Keep an eye out!

I appreciate you posting here, . If you'll pardon the cynicism part of your role is to be upbeat and excited about the game. Most of the communication about upcoming features has been either very abrupt or very brief. For example the Seat of Power changes felt as though they were announced and then happened a couple of days later. On the other hand dragons were announced many months ago and, while the fall equinox hasn't happened so we're still technically in summer, has had no further communication about them. I understand that publishing an exact roadmap could lead to people trying to game that knowledge. But more detail would go a long way in helping people decide if this is the game they want to be playing.

Perhaps a fun event would be an invasion from the north, including a forced abdication of all or top level seats of power simultaneously.

Thanks for the reply, . I am generally enjoying the game, that's why I'm still playing it and, yes, spending way too much money on it :). But I hope you can see why the community might feel a little in the dark. Even without timelines maybe it would be possible to share some types of things that are coming down the pike. I don't think it needs to be at the level of describing game mechanics or even specific new content. But I'd there are new things coming I would like to be excited and looking forward to them, too.
