Reveries can be attached to your Hosts, increasing their attributes and making them more versatile. By having reveries implanted, your Hosts will have better chances at completing difficult interactions. Reveries are interchangeable, plus they can be upgraded thus increasing the bonuses they provide!
To review and manage your Host’s reveries, pull up your Host roster, tap on the Host in question and then tap on the “Reveries” tab.
Let’s first cover the basics of reveries.
An individual reverie has both a level and a rank.
- A reverie’s maximum level is 15.
- Reveries are ranked I (1) through V (5), with a rank V reverie being the most powerful. This is also known as “rarity.” Rarity of an individual reverie is denoted by its color.
- A reverie can be leveled up, but you cannot increase its rank. Completing interactions, fulfilling objectives and taking part in Delos events will provide you with the best chances at receiving reveries of a higher rank.
When implanting reveries on to your Host, take special note of the following:
- Up to 6 reveries can be attached to a single host.
- Of those 6 reveries, you can stack up to 4 of the same reverie type.
Let’s have a look at Sheriff Reed.
Sheriff Reed has 6 reveries implanted. Of those 6, he has 4 Bravery reveries and 2 Survival Instinct reveries.
The Roman numerals on each reverie indicate the rank of that reverie. Sheriff Reed has 2 Bravery rank II reveries attached, with the rest of his reveries at rank I. The number on each reverie represents its current level. As you can see, the levels vary between the reveries equipped, with Sheriff Reed’s highest level reverie being a level 8 Bravery rank I implant.
Next, let’s review the bonuses provided by these reveries.
Taking a look at his level 6 Bravery rank II reverie, this implant provides bonuses to Sheriff Reed’s Aggression, Courage, and Curiosity attributes. Upgrading this reverie will further increase the attributes for these bonuses.
In some cases, by upgrading a reverie, a bonus will be applied to a new attribute. Experiment, and see what sort of bonuses you can unlock!
Note that upgrading a reverie and increasing its level carries a cost in coins. As you further upgrade your reverie, the coin price will increase. Additionally, upgrading a reverie can fail. The higher the reverie’s level, the higher the chance that an upgrade may not take hold. Take heart in knowing that if an upgrade fails, you will not lose your reverie! You will be able to try upgrading again, providing you have the coin.
When reviewing Sheriff Reed’s attributes, you can see which attributes are receiving bonuses from reveries. These bonuses are denoted by the yellow text.
Let’s go over reverie management!
Once you have built your Reverie room, you can tap on the icon to pull up your reverie inventory (sometimes referred to as your “reverie pool.”)
Here you can review and manage all of your reveries. You can upgrade your favorites, remove or swap out reveries equipped to hosts, or sell your excess reveries for coins.
You can store up at a maximum of 100 reveries. Both equipped and unequipped reveries count towards this cap. You can increase that cap by tapping on the icon. Note that increasing your reverie cap will cost Gems.
If you have the maximum amount of reveries in your inventory, then excess reveries will be sent to you via in-game mail. You will need to remove reveries from your inventory and free up space before you can detach reveries from your inbox.
As you progress through the Delos Park Training Simulation, you will likely acquire a reverie that is better than one you have equipped to your favorite Host. You can unequip a Reverie by tapping on the red “Unequip” button when viewing the reverie in question. Note that unequipping a reverie carries a cost in coins, however there is no cost to equip a new one.
Reveries can also be sold for coins. This is an easy way to clear out your reverie inventory and make room for new ones.
