Here at Delos, keeping our employees entertained is just as important as entertaining our guests. From time to time we run events that will require your expertise in the Delos Park Training Simulation. Special rewards will be provided for taking part in these events, which you can put towards your future tests around Westworld!
The Delos Company Newsletter will provide the information you need to know about current, upcoming, and recently-ended events. The newsletter will appear when you load into the DPTS, however you can pull this up at any time simply by tapping on the trophy icon.
Pay special attention to the timers and durations listed at the bottom of each event card! These will indicate how long an event will remain active for, or otherwise note when an upcoming event begins.
There are 2 important goal types that you should be aware of:
- Personal Goals
Personal Goals represent the progress you alone have made during a given event. Solo events typically contain only Personal Goals, however Leaderboard-based event can contain these as well.
During an associated event, you will have designated Personal Goals to achieve. As you pass these goals, you will receive the displayed rewards. To collect your rewards for completing Personal Goals:
- Open the event card for the event in question, via the Delos Company Newsletter.
- Tap on the “Rewards” tab.
- Tap the “Claim” button underneath the Goal(s) that you cleared.
At the conclusion of an event, you will have 24 hours from the time the event ends to collect your Personal Goal rewards following the steps above. Please note that after this 24 hour period expires, unclaimed rewards will disappear and you will not be able to collect them. Additionally, Customer Support will not be able to assist you with recovering any expired event rewards.
The Leaderboard will display your overall progress for a given event across the entire company. This means that fellow Delos employees will be able to see your progress for that event. Keep active in the event, as you do not want to be outscored by another employee!
The Leaderboard is split into tiers, with the higher tiers offering better rewards. In a Leaderboard-based event, you should aim to reach the highest tier possible for a chance at the best rewards!
At the conclusion of a Leaderboard-based event, you will be able to collect your rewards from your inbox. The rewards you receive will be based on the tier you finished in at the end of the associated event. Note that rewards may not immediately go out following the conclusion of an active event, so you should allow up to 48 hours for these to reach your inbox.
As with Personal Goal rewards, the rewards sent to you for Leaderboard events will have a timer noting their expiration. Please claim your Leaderboard rewards as soon as you receive them! Rewards not claimed will disappear once this timer expires, and you will not be able to collect them after that time. Additionally, Customer Support will not be able to assist you with recovering any expired Leaderboard event rewards.
